In 2012, I challenged myself to create something new every day. The parameters? Use six words. As the year progressed, I ended up breaking the 6-word rule but the main point was to explore imagery, investigate form and texture, and, of course, play with type.
You'll see a range of work. Much of it was influenced by what took place that day, everything from the weather to politics. Some of the results were stunning, some not so much. But that's what the creative process is all about.

2.24.12_the cat jumped over the moon
Thanks to my daughter for the inspired collage. I just added a color overlay and the type. I haven't touched Cooper Black since the 80s but if it's good enough for The Black Keys, it's good enough for me.
