More color blocks from playing with my brayers. I love the random variance in ink coverage that happens. I changed the colors in Photoshop.

4.29.12_mother & child reunion

I used a brayer and paint to create the background blocking texture. The chicken and eggs were drawn with a charcoal pencil. Once scanned in, I added the color. Type was created in LetterMpress. Paul Simon learned the phrase "mother and child reunion" when he ordered chicken and eggs in a Chinese restaurant. I love his song, and the irony of the phrase.

I read something about socializing your puppy and this image immediately popped into my head! The background image is actually a photo of mine from a bar in Brussels. The beer in front is from that image. The rest was cut and paste in Photoshop.
